POET’s annual marine energy event, the Ocean Renewable Energy Conference, is back in 2026 with returning partner Marine Energy Collegiate Competition, Monday May 18 through Thursday May 21. OREC last teamed up with MECC to host their finals in 2024, and the student-competitors bringing their passion and sharing their entries made for such an inspiring event.
