Business Oregon and Prosper Portland have teamed up to lead a group of Oregon companies to Santiago and Valdivia, Chile to meet with local municipalities and private companies interested in learning about Oregon’s environmental products & services, smart city technologies, green energy and smart transportation.

Deadline for applications is January 31, 2020 

The mission will include visits to two cities including Santiago, the nation’s capital, and another city interested in sustainability. Companies are encouraged to arrange B2B meetings through the US Dept. of Commerce in Chile.

Financial assistance is available through an Oregon Export Promotion Grant, which may be used to reimburse up to 50% of a company’s eligible expenses: participation fee, airfare (maximum $500), hotel, food per diem for up to two employees, shipping, ground transportation, translation, website localization etc., up to $10,000. Grants are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
