SUMMARY:In Conversation with OPB: Northwest Energy
DESCRIPTION:A Deep Dive into Northwest Energy\n\nTake a deep dive with OPB into Northwest energy: how the Pacific Northwest is powered — and where it’s falling short.\n\n\n\nThe Pacific Northwest was once lauded for its commitment to sustainability – but now\, efforts in Oregon to innovate around energy have waned. What can we learn from this shift\, what can we do and where does this leave Oregon going forward? \nJoin OPB reporters Monica Samayoa\, Tony Schick\, Jes Burns\, and Antonio Sierra in conversation with climate and energy experts as they break down the state of energy in the Pacific Northwest. Panel conversations will be moderated by OPB’s Geoff Norcross and Aaron Scott. \nLight snacks provided by OPB. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister

SUMMARY:Sustainable Building Monthly - February
DESCRIPTION:Sustainable Systems: Finding your Solution\n\n\n\nHigh-performance air systems demand modern design approaches with leading-edge products and technology in order to optimize comfort\, reduce energy consumption and ensure the long-term sustainability of a building. The presentation will discuss high performance solutions that can prioritize thermal comfort in nearly any application and provide the option for smaller/individual zones of temperature control. The energy efficient systems presented have been proven to provide up to 67% energy savings when compared to other more traditional HVAC systems. For long-term sustainability\, these solutions create future resilient spaces that ensure no comfort zones are split when office walls are put up or moved. The modular concept and flexibility provided by these systems guarantees that any changes in the floor plan will not trigger expensive and disruptive changes. \n\nRegister
