Prosper Portland releases the Green Cities Action Plan
Following the adoption of Advance Portland in 2023, Prosper Portland’s Business Advancement Team set to work developing action plans for four of Portland’s competitive industry clusters: Athletic & Outdoor, Green Cities, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, and Metals & Machinery.
At the end of last year, the Green Cities Industry Liaison summarized findings, conducted an industry survey and gathered feedback from industry stakeholders. We are excited to release the Green Cities Action Plan that will guide our programming and work over the next three years. Thank you to everyone who gave their input and guidance that lead to this plan.
The key findings and recommendations in the plan fall into five categories:
1. Business Connections, Growth and Expansion
2. Local Collaboration in the Green Transition
3. Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support
4. Promote Portland as a Clean Tech Hub
5. Cultivate Workforce Connections
