Over the past year, we have witnessed a steady stream of Greater Portland climate tech federal funding announcements in the wake of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the CHIPS and Science Act. From public agencies to private companies, higher education to non-profits, Portlanders are rolling up their sleeves and building coalitions to tackle climate change and ensure inclusive industry growth.
